Born in Paris in 1967, Alexis Tricoire attracted attention from VIA two years before getting his diploma from ENSAD ( Ecole National Supérieur des Arts Décoratifs, specialized in home furnishing) with is Alexi's sister pouffe, which has been bought immediatly by the national contemporary art fund. After a master of interior architecture in the Art institute of chicago, Alexis Tricoire learned scénography during four years in J. Habersetzer architectural agency, with some realisations for the Louvre and for the Arab World Institute. Then he practiced design, by working for agencies and figures such as Sylvian Dubuisson, Pucci de Rossi and Christian Ghion. In 1996, Alexis Trecoire Created his agency, Tricoiredesign and is being edited per Axis, Ardi, Philips, Lucien Gau, Vange, Branex, by designing playful and poetic objects.
